Full Form of LLB

The full form of LLB is Legum Baccalaureus, which means Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Legislative Law. It is a three-year bachelor course in law. It provides an overall knowledge on various legal subjects. In this course, only law-related subjects are taught; that’s why LLB is known as a pure law degree.

There are also various five-year integrated law courses such as BBM LLB, BBA LLB, BCA LLB, BTech LLB and BCom LLB, by mixing LLB with BBA, BBM, BCom, BCA and BTech. Anyone who has completed his/her bachelor degree in any stream can join LLB.

LLB Admission Criteria

You have to follow some basic criteria to get admission in the LLB programme:

  • You must have passed a bachelor’s degree in any faculty.
  • You have to appear in the LLB Entrance Examination conducted by universities and colleges.
  • You must have passed the LLB Entrance Examination and secured your name on the merit list.

Eligibility of LLB Course

Anyone who has passed his bachelor degree is then eligible for the LLB course. There is no minimum GPA score and percentage for LLB entrance by the Faculty of Law, Tribhuvan University. It means anyone who has passed a bachelor degree is eligible for admission.

LLB Entrance Syllabus

Anyone who wants to study LLB then he/she has to attend LLB Entrance Exam first. So having complete details of the LLB Entrance Syllabus is a must.

The LLB entrance exam contains 100 multiple choice questions for 100 marks. Each question contains one number.
